What if I told you that taking a break, a real break, where you don’t think about your business, whether it be for an afternoon, a few days, or even longer could be the best thing for your business and your health, would you consider it?ย ๐Ÿ™„

Taking a break, a real break with no phones, emails or laptop allows space for the right brain to emerge. This is the part of you where those amazing ideas come from!ย ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

It like a power charger for your brain!!

I came across this great article on HBR that points to a study that shows overworking yourself leads to several health issues including lack of sleep, impaired memory, and even health issues like heart disease.ย ๐Ÿ‘Œ

If you are not healthy your business is not healthy! You have to let yourself relax once in awhile!
Eat right, exercise, and yes drink that water!!

Getting away allows you to clear your mind and gain some new perspectives.
Meeting new people, experiencing new things, and just getting some zen time to think will give you some much-needed distance from your business

It gives everything we need to recharge those depleted cells!!

You have heard it before that spending time away with your family is important to being successful but how often do you really do it?๐Ÿ™„

Insomnia and Anxiety

I needed a couple of my mama go shakes the other dayย to get me through my day!!! It was the first thing I grabbed in theย morning before my coffee after a night of insomnia!!

The last time I looked at the clock it was almost 5am. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The struggle is real! ๐Ÿ›Œ
You see I suffer from anxiety; have for years, and most of the time I pretty much have a handle on it. But there is on an occasion it will show its ugly face!! ๐Ÿ˜ต

Anxiety symptoms that can lead to insomnia include:

Tension
Getting caught up in thoughts about past events
Excessive worrying about future events
Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities
A general feeling of being revved up or overstimulated

Yup that is me in a nutshell right now!! ๐Ÿ‘Š
I am not going to let it win though!!

Everyone feels anxious now and then. Itโ€™s a normal emotion. Many people feel nervous when faced with a problem at work, before taking a test, or making an important decision.

Anxiety disorders are different, though. They can cause such distress that it interferes with your ability to lead a normal life. After many years of suffering from it I have learned many self help ways to over come it.
I know how important sleep is for me and my health so I take this seriously and will do what it takes to knock it back down and win yet another round!!!

Here are a fewย tips on how I will over come this, and have overcome anxiety in the past, so that nights like last night don’t happen again!!
