Insomnia and Anxiety

I needed a couple of my mama go shakes the other dayย to get me through my day!!! It was the first thing I grabbed in theย morning before my coffee after a night of insomnia!!

The last time I looked at the clock it was almost 5am. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The struggle is real! ๐Ÿ›Œ
You see I suffer from anxiety; have for years, and most of the time I pretty much have a handle on it. But there is on an occasion it will show its ugly face!! ๐Ÿ˜ต

Anxiety symptoms that can lead to insomnia include:

Getting caught up in thoughts about past events
Excessive worrying about future events
Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities
A general feeling of being revved up or overstimulated

Yup that is me in a nutshell right now!! ๐Ÿ‘Š
I am not going to let it win though!!

Everyone feels anxious now and then. Itโ€™s a normal emotion. Many people feel nervous when faced with a problem at work, before taking a test, or making an important decision.

Anxiety disorders are different, though. They can cause such distress that it interferes with your ability to lead a normal life. After many years of suffering from it I have learned many self help ways to over come it.
I know how important sleep is for me and my health so I take this seriously and will do what it takes to knock it back down and win yet another round!!!

Here are a fewย tips on how I will over come this, and have overcome anxiety in the past, so that nights like last night don’t happen again!!
