How often do you take breaks? No a real break???

What if I told you that taking a break, a real break, where you don’t think about your business, whether it be for an afternoon, a few days, or even longer could be the best thing for your business and your health, would you consider it? 🙄

Taking a break, a real break with no phones, emails or laptop allows space for the right brain to emerge. This is the part of you where those amazing ideas come from! 😮
The part where all those creative juices starts flowing! 👩‍💻
It like a power charger for your brain!!

I came across this great article on HBR that points to a study that shows overworking yourself leads to several health issues including lack of sleep, impaired memory, and even health issues like heart disease. 👌

You begin to lose focus, interpersonal skills, and begin making those poor choices that sometimes could lead to more stress and sleepless nights! It becomes a vicious cycle.

Here are three MORE reasons to give yourself a REAL break!

 I will say it again! Taking care of yourself is the most important part of taking care of your business:
If you are not healthy your business is not healthy! You have to let yourself relax once in awhile!
Eat right, exercise, and yes drink that water!!

Get Away!
Getting away allows you to clear your mind and gain some new perspectives.
Meeting new people, experiencing new things, and just getting some zen time to think will give you some much-needed distance from your business

Most important is spend quality time with your friends and family:

It gives everything we need to recharge those depleted cells!!

You have heard it before that spending time away with your family is important to being successful but how often do you really do it?🙄

I know you have a good reason not to right?

Listen, it will all be there when your recharged!! You work hard and you deserve some time to sit back, relax and enjoy the people around you who are what make it A LIFE WORTH LIVING.👈

This was a live Facebook that I did. I shared a little bit of how this topic came about and why it is so important for us to stop sabotaging ourselves!!
