For a brief moment yesterday I had considered going back into the corporate world.  It was a very brief moment!

For a brief moment yesterday I had considered going back into the corporate world. 😱
It was a very brief moment! ☝️
Something was dangled in front of me and for a moment my mind wandered.
But then…..
.
.
.
🗯️I asked myself was I willing to give up my time freedom?
💸Was I willing to fork over a lot of money for help with my son?
☹️Was I willing to give up doing what I love to do?
🙄Was I willing to line the pockets of someone else instead of me?

🙌At the age of 53 I wish I understood what all this represented years ago!

😮Maybe I wouldn’t have spent 8 years driving 60 miles a day, paying over $100 a week for day care, just to break even every month after bills.

😷Maybe I wouldn’t have been so stressed out to have made myself physically sick and become obese!

😭Maybe I would have been able to be there more for my kids when they needed me!

👩‍🍳Maybe I wouldn’t have spent many years waiting tables and working double shifts just to make ends meet while at the same time missing out on some precious mommy moments.

👀Looking back though I can say I am grateful for the opportunities! I grew as an individual with each experience, and discovered some new passions!
I was able to help a lot of people something I am passionate about doing!

🤔However, I honestly don’t know how I did it. For 8 years, The 60 miles a day commute alone sucked! I was in my car more hours in a day than I was at home!

Now my days are not dictated by a time clock or supervisor! They are
– On My terms
– I drive when I want to
– I have time now to take care of me
– I am healthier
– I am still helping others
– I am always available for my kids now
– I no longer break even in the bank every month⬆️
– I get to enjoy being me

No I am not retired!
💃I chose to live a life that that I design!!

My Business has Changed and I am no longer with Team Beachbody

As most of you may know, I have spent the last 3 years pouring my heart ❤️and soul into my business.
Being part of Team Beachbody Not only turned my life around mentally and physically, but allowed me to continue to be a full time stay home mom to my CJ! 👩‍👦
Which I am more than GRATEFUL for🙏🏻

🧐 More importantly, I made some AMAZING friends, 👭 and reconnected with old friends that I might not have! It also taught me so much not only about myself but about “TRUE” leadership, TEAM building and what is required to build a very SUCCESSFUL team!!
📣However, I have decided it’s time for me to move on 🚶‍♀️ to some NEW, BIGGER ADVENTURES!!

This was a very difficult decision! However one that I needed to make for my family and my future

The reason I chose this new adventure is because after years with focusing on nutrition and exercise to my  customers, fans, and followers, I learned from them that there was still something missing in their health journeys; as well as in mine! After careful consideration and significant research I found what I was looking for to help them with TOTAL HEALTH!

THANK YOU 😘 from the bottom of my heart to all of my Facebook friends, family and customers that supported me through these years and this journey! 👉🏻You are appreciated more than you know💚

😁 I am SUPER excited for what is next🙌🏻
😏This is something SOOOOOOOO big that it’s going to completely change the game for so many moms and families everywhere! 🌎 😲

Choice, Chance, Change

Change, transformation, alteration what ever you what to call it , it is hard! It doesn’t matter what, or how, or even why; change is hard.

So many people resist change for many reasons!

Fear
Unknown
Lack of knowledge

The the thought of the word can make some of us literally physically ill.

Ugg Listen, I am not knew to change. I have been through many changes in my life.

I was a young mom and military spouse moving every few years,
Divorcee, single mom, a mom to a child with Down syndrome, Full time career woman, to a work at home mom.
Those are just to name a few! I have seen my share of change and I can promise you that none of them came easy!!

Change is inevitable, we all go through it but we are creatures of habit ! But, we are also creatures of change and adaptation.

Our habits are created in our brains, and our brains are constantly changing in response to our changing environment. Our adaptability is the secret to our success as a species.
So what is it that makes change a little easier for some than others. Some are able to harness adaptability and use towards something positive, to make those choices, those decisions, of how we want things to be; and who we want to be in this thing we called life.

You have a lot more power to become the person you want to be more than you might think. You are not predetermined by external environments, nor by the genes that created you . The secret is to learn to retrain your brain, yup, retrain those habits!!

I am not expert, therapist, or psychologist ,  and I have always found it difficult to deal with change. I am speaking the heart here because change is weighing heavy on my heart tonight.

As much as I wanted to think of myself as a flexible go with the flow kind of person, It never went with out internal struggles. Aside from my OCD, I like to be in control of my situations!
I like to know where I am, what I’m doing, where I’m going. I like to have things layed out in black and white on my many lists of to-dos, and ideas.  Basically having a plan and being prepared I minimize the level of uncertainty in my life. Less uncertainty, less stress right?

My discomfort around uncertainty means I am usually very in-decisive.   In some ways this has been beneficial;  for example, it’s allowed me to take my time making the right decision on hard choices of change!!  In other ways, it’s been a disadvantage, especially when it does take a long time for me to make those changes, those decisions. I see others in places where I would have been had I not made the decisions sooner.

In the past when life threw me curve balls of change, It left me feeling uncertain!  I had to do whatever I needed to do to regain my sense of control.  Keeping my options open or “going with the flow” provoked feelings of restlessness, insecurities, and eventually a whole lot of stress!

My relationship with change, took a indisputable turn three years ago when  I embarked on the adventures of a home based business.
Some people think   Direct Sellers or Multi Level Markets as scam artists, or crooks. Some think of them as annoying, and bothersome.  Well I am a direct seller, a so called Multi Level Marketer and though my name may not be in spotlights just yet I feel like I have already succeeded beyond my dreams.

Change happens, and learning how to cope with that change I learned by being in this business. It has taught me how to be a better me. To live a life without fear! To live for change!  It has taught me that everyday we wake up to a new adventure with no way of knowing where it will take us!!  To adapt easier and accept things  good or bad! To enjoy the ride, to live to the fullest!!

Change is hard, but with out it what do you really have?

How often do you take breaks? No a real break???

🤔

What if I told you that taking a break, a real break, where you don’t think about your business, whether it be for an afternoon, a few days, or even longer could be the best thing for your business and your health, would you consider it? 🙄

Taking a break, a real break with no phones, emails or laptop allows space for the right brain to emerge. This is the part of you where those amazing ideas come from! 😮
The part where all those creative juices starts flowing! 👩‍💻
It like a power charger for your brain!!

I came across this great article on HBR that points to a study that shows overworking yourself leads to several health issues including lack of sleep, impaired memory, and even health issues like heart disease. 👌

You begin to lose focus, interpersonal skills, and begin making those poor choices that sometimes could lead to more stress and sleepless nights! It becomes a vicious cycle.

Here are three MORE reasons to give yourself a REAL break!

I will say it again! Taking care of yourself is the most important part of taking care of your business:
If you are not healthy your business is not healthy! You have to let yourself relax once in awhile!
Eat right, exercise, and yes drink that water!!
👉 Not sure where to begin let’s chat and I will share what I am doing. 😚

Get Away!
Getting away allows you to clear your mind and gain some new perspectives.
Meeting new people, experiencing new things, and just getting some zen time to think will give you some much-needed distance from your business

Most important is spend quality time with your friends and family:

👉This is why we love 💓 our camping adventures!
It gives everything we need to recharge those depleted cells!!

You have heard it before that spending time away with your family is important to being successful but how often do you really do it?🙄

I know you have a good reason not to right?
Trust me I have heard it all! 🙃
🔹You are just so busy!
🔹You can relax when you hit your goals!!
🔹You can’t miss those important deadlines!
🔹You’re afraid you will lose that momentum!

Listen, it will all be there when your recharged!! You work hard and you deserve some time to sit back, relax and enjoy the people around you who are what make it A LIFE WORTH LIVING.👈

 So…..

What do all these have in common?🤔
Exhaustion, lack of energy, not enough time with friends and family, disillusionment and lower motivation ! 😴😕

I will also share my 3 step proven method to change them!
