For a brief moment yesterday I had considered going back into the corporate world.ย  It was a very brief moment!ย

For a brief moment yesterday I had considered going back into the corporate world.ย ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
It was a very brief moment!ย โ˜๏ธ
Something was dangled in front of me and for a moment my mind wandered.
But then…..
.
.
.
๐Ÿ—ฏ๏ธI asked myself was I willing to give up my time freedom?
๐Ÿ’ธWas I willing to fork over a lot of money for help with my son?
โ˜น๏ธWas I willing to give up doing what I love to do?
๐Ÿ™„Was I willing to line the pockets of someone else instead of me?

๐Ÿ™ŒAt the age of 53 I wish I understood what all this represented years ago!

๐Ÿ˜ฎMaybe I wouldn’t have spent 8 years driving 60 miles a day, paying over $100 a week for day care, just to break even every month after bills.

๐Ÿ˜ทMaybe I wouldn’t have been so stressed out to have made myself physically sick and become obese!

๐Ÿ˜ญMaybe I would have been able to be there more for my kids when they needed me!

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณMaybe I wouldn’t have spent many years waiting tables and working double shifts just to make ends meet while at the same time missing out on some precious mommy moments.

๐Ÿ‘€Looking back though I can say I am grateful for the opportunities! I grew as an individual with each experience, and discovered some new passions!
I was able to help a lot of people something I am passionate about doing!

๐Ÿค”However, I honestly don’t know how I did it. For 8 years, The 60 miles a day commute alone sucked! I was in my car more hours in a day than I was at home!

โœจNow my days are not dictated by a time clock or supervisor! They are
– On My terms
– I drive when I want to
– I have time now to take care of me
– I am healthier
– I am still helping others
– I am always available for my kids now
– I no longer break even in the bank every monthโฌ†๏ธ
– I get to enjoy being me

No I am not retired!
๐Ÿ’ƒI chose to live a life that that I design!!

Are you doing everything you can to fight Osteoporosis??

Are you doing everything you can to prevent Osteoporosis??๐Ÿ™„

This is an “OMG I can’t believe I did that” look! AND a “thank God it’s done” look! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ It was a hard workout!

๐Ÿง˜Exercise is just ONE aspect of a wellness journey, but one this 53 year old is not quitting even though it kicks my arse sometimes! ๐Ÿฅต

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸซThere were many reasons I started my wellness journey back in 2015 one of them was preventing Osteoporosis.

๐Ÿ‘ตYou see as a young child I watched my grandmother suffer horribly with this disease. I remember her back braces, her hunch back, her wheelchair, and yes even her pain. โ˜น๏ธ
.
.
SO as I began to age I knew I had to take better care of myself.๐Ÿ‘Œ โžก๏ธOsteoporosis does run in families. …but it doesn’t mean you will get it. So it is especially IMPORTANT to STRENGTHEN your bones through EXERCISE and a healthy DIET if you have this risk factor. But now….
.
.

๐Ÿšจ NOW there is NEW RESEARCH!! ๐Ÿšจ

When I started converting my family to being TOXIN FREE I learned about the toxin Tricolsan. New research is showing that there is a direct link between this toxin, other endocrine distributors, and Osteoporosis. ๐Ÿคฌ
Thank goodness these are no longer common in my home and products that we use daily !

Common Products Linked To Osteoporosis

๐ŸคทWe can’t control our destiny nor our genetics, but what we can control is what comes into to our home; and goes into and on our bodies.

๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿ›๏ธSo glad I found our shop club with over 400 toxin free products for my family.

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒฟExercise, nutrition, and toxin free! My way of aging gracefully!!โค๏ธ

Choice, Chance, Change

Change, transformation, alteration what ever you what to call it , it is hard! It doesn’t matter what, or how, or even why; change is hard.

ย
So many people resist change for many reasons!
ย
Fear
Unknown
Lack of knowledge
ย
The the thought of the word can make some of us literally physically ill.
ย
Ugg Listen, I am not knew to change. I have been through many changes in my life.
ย
I was a young mom and military spouse moving every few years,
Divorcee,ย single mom, a mom to a child with Down syndrome, Full time career woman, to a work at home mom.
Those are just to name a few! I have seen my share of change and I can promise you that none of them came easy!!
ย
Change is inevitable, we all go through it but we are creatures of habit ! But, we are also creatures of change and adaptation.
ย
Our habits are created in our brains, and our brains are constantly changing in response to our changing environment. Our adaptability is the secret to our success as a species.
So what is it that makes change a little easier for some than others. Some are able to harness adaptability and use towards something positive, to make those choices, those decisions, of how we want things to be; and who we want to be in this thing we called life.
ย
You have a lot more power to become the person you want to be more than you might think. You are not predetermined by external environments, nor by the genes that created you . The secret is to learn to retrain your brain, yup, retrain those habits!!
ย
I am not expert, therapist, or psychologist ,ย  and I have always found it difficult to deal with change. I am speaking the heart here because change is weighing heavy on my heart tonight.ย
ย
As much as I wanted to think of myself as a flexible go with the flow kind of person, It never went with out internal struggles. Aside from my OCD, I like to be in control of my situations!
I like to know where I am, what Iโ€™m doing, where Iโ€™m going. I like to have things layed out in black and white on my many lists of to-dos, and ideas.ย  Basically having a plan and being prepared I minimize the level of uncertainty in my life. Less uncertainty, less stress right?
ย
My discomfort around uncertainty means I am usually very in-decisive.ย  ย In some ways this has been beneficial;ย  for example, itโ€™s allowed me to take my time making the right decision on hard choices of change!!ย ย In other ways, itโ€™s been a disadvantage, especially when it does take a long time for me to make those changes, those decisions. I see others in places where I would have been had I not made the decisions sooner.
ย
In the past when life threw me curve balls of change, It left me feeling uncertain!ย  I had to do whatever I needed to do to regain my sense of control.ย  Keeping my options open or โ€œgoing with the flowโ€ provoked feelings of restlessness, insecurities, and eventually a whole lot of stress!

My relationship with change, took a indisputable turn three years ago whenย  I embarked on the adventures of a home based business.
Some people thinkย  ย Direct Sellers or Multi Level Markets as scam artists, or crooks. Some think of them as annoying, and bothersome.ย  Well I am a direct seller, a so called Multi Level Marketer and though my name may not be in spotlights just yet I feel like I have already succeeded beyond my dreams.

Change happens, and learning how to cope with that change I learned by being in this business. It has taught me how to be a better me. To live a life without fear! To live for change!ย  It has taught me that everyday we wake up to a new adventure with no way of knowing where it will take us!!ย  To adapt easier and accept thingsย  good or bad! To enjoy the ride, to live to the fullest!!

Change is hard, but with out it what do you really have?

Sugar Is Toxic – My Journey

We all know that sugar is bad for us. Yes??
If you didn’t then maybe you have been hiding under a rock! Remember the Dentist telling you how sugar can hurt your teeth?
Sugar is toxic For our bodies, our teeth and our overall health!
ย Unfortunately sugar is in almost everything!!
This past month while on an extended vacation in Maine I realized so much about how Sugar affects me and my son especially since we have been 99% Sugar free now for three years. I figured I am on vacation why not enjoy.ย  There were birthday parties, dinners out, and of course staying in someone elses home. My control was a bit limited.

Iย  tried to be careful on what I ate but many times it was a challenge. The only thing that I introduced into my body that I had not had in a long time was food with Sugar.ย  It made me sick in ways that I have not felt in years. I was hurting my body, and yes even my sons. I should have been a stronger person but now thatย  I know how it affects us It will never happen again.ย

ย
It is now one of my top priorities and a passion of mine help spread the education of this toxin to others, my family, my friends; on the dangers of consumption of sugar.
I am by no means an expert but what I will be sharing with you on my experiences over the next few weeks will hopefully help you to think twice about the foods you are purchasing, and consuming.
I will be doing some videos and blogs in the coming weeks sharing my journey with and without sugar with you all when I return home.
Like body aches, mental fog, exhaustion, digestive issues just to name a few!!

I see so many people that I care about that are trying to live a healthier lifestyle, yet sugar is everywhere in their home, in their lives!

We all have heard the research, maybe even seen a few videos but if you are still consuming it then you are putting you and your family at risk!

I want to share with you some research and a documentary that I found while doing some research!!
